Already in the fourth generation, Beat Stähli continues the legacy of his famous family of woodcarvers from Brienz. From an early age, he discovered the artistic work of his ancestors. After training at the sculpture school in Brienz, Stähli is drawn to the world. His references include life-size walnut sculptures of politicians and even portraits of presidents. His sculptures find their place all over the world. Beat Stähli is inspired by the enchanting nature of the magical Lake Brienz.
