« It’s so beautiful to see this material dancing, to see it incandescent and burning, transparent and malleable, to end up rigid and limpid. »

About

After a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in applied arts, Valérie de Roquemaurel obtained her diploma as a European glassmaker. She completed internships with glassmakers in Italy (in Murano), Sweden, Spain, France and Switzerland. His work has earned him several accolades. Valérie de Roquemaurel founded and chairs the Souffle de Verre association for the promotion of cane-blown glass in Switzerland.

« Uniting drawing and glass to find harmony. I want everyone to tell a story. »

Valérie de Roquemaurel creates unique objects in Pomy, vases, lamps and jewelry that she exhibits regularly in museums and galleries. With the help of the Souffle de verre association, sponsored by chef Franck Giovannini, they were able to install the ovens that allow them to make blown pieces for their creations and those of designers.
