Frédéric Vial has always loved building models. Over time, he discovers the world of figurines and is passionate about it. From April 2019 to June 2020, he is in charge of the renovation of the Swiss Museum of Historical Figurines at the Château de Morges where nearly 10,000 miniatures are exhibited. He is a member of the Montreux miniature’s show which organizes a miniature show every year.

Frédéric Vial, self-taught figurine maker, applies a coat of acrylic paint to his figurines before painting them in oil. He can spend several weeks on these parts which measure between 54 and 90 millimeters. In addition to his activity at the Château de Morges, he painted exhibition models of miniatures offered for sale. He paints both historical and fantastic characters.
