From March 28 to 30, 2025, the cantons of Geneva, Vaud, Ticino, and the city of Bern celebrated artisanal skills through demonstrations, meetings, and workshop visits. More than 130 artisans, representing 108 crafts, opened their doors to a curious and passionate public. With more than 15,000 visitors and 2,000 young people reached, this edition once again highlighted the excellence and diversity of crafts in Switzerland.

Weaver, mosaicist, blacksmith, cutler, bow maker, costume maker, luthier, ceramist… These are professions that we often imagine to be linked to the past, perpetuated by a few enthusiasts in the secrecy of their workshops, and doomed to disappear sooner or later. Yet these sectors have "high potential for economic development," according to Raphaël Crittin, president of the Swiss Association of Crafts, who recognizes the paradox. "They involve very specific skills, passed down over the centuries, but their products are modern, with very high added value, whether in the fields of luxury, ancient heritage, 21st-century architecture, or even theater and cinema."
