The workshops will only take place on Saturday March 29 and Sunday March 30 upon registration. Duration 1h30 only for children from 8 to 12 years old.
Description
For the second time, the JEMA are offering introductory workshops on an artistic craft: basketry. For 1h30, children are invited to discover rattan basketry alongside Michel Québatte, one of the few people to make a living from this artistic craft in the canton of Vaud, accompanied for the occasion by two speakers. At the end of the activity, each and every one will leave with their own little basket woven from rattan pith!
At the end of the activity, everyone will leave with their own creation!
If you are curious and like to create with your hands, this workshop is for you!

The workshop is reserved for children from 8 to 12 years old. The activity is free and upon registration via this site. Please note, the number of places is limited! Please do not register adults.
All equipment is provided.
