About

Conference by Charly Palmieri, saddler and best craftsman in France & Carine Thiollay, director of the Hermès School of know-how

The culture of the Hermès house places people at the heart of its projects.

Saddler and harness maker since 1837, Hermès puts its expertise at the service of the equestrian world, combining technicality, performance and comfort for horse and rider.

The result of teamwork between our partner riders, the saddle expert and the craftsman, each Hermès saddle is born from the hands of a single craftsman. Passed down from generation to generation, the house's saddlemaking expertise combines tradition, modernity and innovation to give life to custom-made saddles.

Charly Palmieri, Meilleur Ouvrier de France saddler, and Carine Thiollay, director of the Hermès School of Know-How, invite you to a conversation about training in saddle-leathercraft know-how, the passion for the gesture and its transmission.
