Textile designer


The fabric designer designs and manufactures clothing or interior fabrics, special fabrics for works and objects of art or folk costumes, etc. They use various materials: cotton, linen, hemp, ramie, wool, silk, synthetic fibers, etc. Produced individually or in small series, these fabrics are intended for all industrial sectors: furniture, clothing, decoration, tableware, etc.

Become a fabric designer

Training is acquired through an apprenticeship with obtaining a CFC. Location in Lausanne. Duration 3 years. Possibilities for further development are possible.
