La serrurerie d'art

Metal crafts

This book, without text, presents models of artistic locksmithing in its architectural and monumental character. No close-up view, few details, but remarkable designs of complete sets and simple or highly elaborate grids. This reissue of a work from the beginning of the 20th century presents 50 plates which concern the Renaissance, Louis XIV, Louis XV and Louis XVI styles, in fact modern interpretations of a rigorous classical aesthetic. They were put together by Louis Perroux, a blacksmith. This book, without text, presents models of artistic locksmithing in its architectural and monumental character.
