Cristina Calderara Jaime was born in 1968 in the Canton of Ticino, Switzerland. Raised in a family with strong propensities for creativity, she experiments with various expressive techniques, using various materials. In his sculptural works he gives shape, or revisits objects, transmitting them an emotional corporeity in an essential and symbolic way. In his paintings the essentiality of the forms is defined thanks to the clear furrow of the outline and is lost in the chromatic fullness of a background that becomes filling.
