After more than 10 years of experience in the field of textiles, sewing and fashion design, I imagined Capsule in cotton to meet a very particular desire of women: a shirt that has nothing to envy to the one men. It is with this challenge in mind that I undertook to adapt this classic of the men’s wardrobe to the silhouette of women, without making any concessions on the quality of the fabric and the finishes.

The shirt was also one of the first garments I practiced sewing with. Cut, stitched, pinned, without realizing it, I had nourished a certain fascination for this piece. But today, it is with my clients that I share this love, this obsession in my workshop and showroom.

On one side I exhibit pieces from the current collection with a display where various collars and cuffs are displayed, but in the cotton Capsule version. On the other, there is my workshop. This is where the magic happens. Shelves of stacked fabrics, rolls of paper and cutting rules, the whole universe of the seamstress is told. I find this decor very poetic because I like the know-how of craftsmanship. It’s always fascinating to watch an idea put down on paper, taking shape little by little. It is this same experience that I offer with Capsule en coton, putting on a timeless or extravagant piece where only our imagination is our limit.

Each step of making Capsule cotton shirts is carried out with the greatest care. In addition, the designer Laura imagines and gives life to modern shirts that are timeless and easy to combine with her wardrobe.
