Trained in sales management, Yoann Chauvy changed direction. After an internship in the green spaces of Morges then a year of training in the construction of dry stone walls, his path was found: in 2011, he created his landscaping company dedicated to constructions and renovations in dry stone or jointed. He is a member of the Swiss Federation of Dry Stone Masons.
« I like contact with stone, whether it’s Jura limestone or field stone. But I have a weakness for Vollèges stone, in the Val de Bagne. »
As part of his company Terre Pierre Nature , Yoann Chauvy builds or renovates walls, stairs, terraces, basins or even aromatic spirals in dry stone, favoring local stone and traditional work. Equipped with a sledgehammer and a chisel, he mainly works for individuals.
