About
Alain Aeschlimann and Jacques-André Jeanneret completed their apprenticeship as organ builders at the Manufacture d’Orgues Neidhart et Lhôte, in a beautiful building from 1715. They then worked there until Mr. Neidhart retired. Passionate about their profession, they took over the company in 1982, which became the Manufacture d’Orgues St-Martin SA. They are also titular organists in St-Martin and Dombresson.
The organs of Chézard-St-Martin are made in the respect of tradition, with wooden rods, leather nuts and hot glue. The organ of the Collegiate Church of Neuchâtel, that of St-Nicolas Cathedral in Friborg and Bedford Park in London are among the magnificent achievements of this manufactory. In addition to the visit of the workshop, you can discover the organ of the Temple of St-Martin.
