About
From carpenter to sculptor: Paul Kohli has been self-employed in the carpentry and joinery business under the name Holzwerkstatt Kohli since 1984. Twenty years ago, for fun, he created a bear with a chainsaw and happily placed it in front of the house. Shortly afterwards, the first requests and orders came in, so success was not long in coming. The "sculpting" of animal figures quickly became a full-time job for Paul Kohli.
Creative work with wood always inspires him to create new sculptures, which he considers a challenge. With his creations, he tries to touch his customers on an emotional level and to convince them on a qualitative level. His sculptures are all unique pieces. The wood comes as much as possible from the region, from forestry companies and from private individuals.
