The wooden support carved by the engraver then becomes a print, which is inked before going to press in order to print the artist’s emotions on paper or fabric. Equipped with different tools, the wood engraver freezes time, giving immortal status to each of his productions.

Fanny Kopp, wood engraver, passes on her knowledge, acquired in various workshops, to young people and adults at the Maison de quartier Chausse-coq.

Her creations draw their inspiration from nature and wildlife, whose preservation she campaigns for by transmitting a strong message through certain works.
