VICUS was born in 2015, when I turned my aesthetic design into a practice, my living room into a studio, and started working on my true passion: leather craftsmanship. The production of VICUS aims for the finest quality of completely handcrafted items and the high functionality that hides behind the most essential shapes. The result is the original unification of a minimal and modern aesthetic design with one of the oldest textile traditions.

Behind the main objectives of VICUS production is the essential eco-ethical attempt to regenerate Swiss Made, which over the past decades has been totally eclipsed by the relocation of larger companies to "more exploitable countries", where the highest profits follow the greatest quantity of products, and not at all that of their quality. Thanks to the entirely artisanal manufacture of leather, each product is authentic, unique and made to last. The production of VICUS uses the simple and traditional artisanal technique of harnesses, well known for its resistance and duration. After the artisanal sewing, the edges of the leather are smoothed, polished and treated with natural products in order to give the final product an additional protection and degree of quality.

VICUS products are made exclusively with the finest and most traditional Italian leather, namely vegetable tanned leather from Tuscany. Vegetable tanned leather is completely natural, that is, its production does not involve substances that are toxic to humans or the environment.

VICUS wants to give back to the human being the possibility of engraving his life in timeless, authentic and ecological products.
