Trained as an architect and passionate about board sports, Sébastien Meylan discovered a passion for woodworking by making surfboards. After a few years practicing this activity in his garage, he met Denis Droz, bow maker, and added a string to his know-how. At his side, he learns to build bows before resuming his archery in January 2021.

By taking over Denis Droz’s workshop, Sébastien Meylan becomes the third boss of Merlin Archery. Here, he designs unique bows made of different types of wood for both amateur and professional archers. At the same time, he offers his wooden boards with sometimes alpine motifs to Swiss and European surfers. Eventually, he also wants to design wooden paddles.
