About
Born in 1952, Danièle Mussard took an early interest in textile arts. She saw the Lausanne International Tapestry Biennial grow at the same time as her.
After her teacher training, she perfected her training in tapestry at the School of Fine Arts in Barcelona, then obtained her CFC as a weaver in 1980.
She is active in various professional groups including Romantiss’, a group of weavers from Romandie, the Union du tissage artisanal and Visarte Vaud. Both a place of production, a textile art school and a gallery, the Filambule workshop has been welcoming apprentices since 1980. It is also there that Danièle Mussard develops her creations and weaves her own themes.
