About
After working as an engineer, Jacky Riesen took over a lighting store. If he starts with chandeliers, he quickly develops new lighting techniques and more modern lamps for both individuals and institutions. In 2019, he won the Métiers d’art & Design prize with master sailmaker Nicolas Berthoud and designer Claudio Colucci.
In 2013, Jacky Riesen took over the Atelier d’art, a chandelier factory dating from the 1930s. Using machines that allowed him to manufacture the parts needed to make or repair chandeliers and lamps of all kinds, he is a past master in the art of playing with light. He creates made-to-measure lighting for paintings, facades, ceilings and even sculptures.
