After an apprenticeship as a tinsmith, Yvan Robert traveled to Oceania. It was during this year that he discovered pearls, opals and engravings on jade and whalebone, then sapphires in Tanzania. Fascinated and captivated by the beauty of these stones, he took courses in lapidary and gemology at Free-Form in Montreux, where he still performs size demonstrations.

Yvan Robert joined the company Décors Guillochés in 2013. His skills as a lapidary are valued in accessories and in the "Guinel" jewelry line. In this workshop, precision work is carried out on the gems, in order to bring out their shapes and optimal brilliance. You will be able to follow the evolution of the faceting and will attend the cabochon cutting and the engraving of colored stones.
