The ancient craft of braiding with human hair is practiced today only by a small group of women. For the survival of the various demanding techniques associated with it, it is very important that attention is not only focused on the cultivation and production of traditional work, but also finds application in the creative design of contemporary objects.

Franziska Santschi takes great pleasure in passing on her experience and know-how by showing and explaining different techniques such as braiding and bobbin lace (=jatte), shaping hair flowers and gluing pictures made of hair and hair powder.
