After her studies, Ingrid Schmidt worked for the fashion world in southern Germany before settling in Geneva. Inspired by the lake and the surrounding mountains, she creates unique jewelry and limited series: earrings, pendants, rings. She offers her creations for sale in many Swiss boutiques and regularly participates in exhibitions.

In her workshop located in the heart of Geneva, Ingrid Schmidt likes to accentuate the surface of her jewels by giving them a texture specific to textiles: this is how we can find the delicacy of lace on a silver ring. She also fuses fine gold or silver threads on plates using the Keum-Boo method and makes shapes appear using enamels.
