Cristina Scognamiglio, aka Krisalide, is an artist of Italian origin who has lived in Switzerland for several years. She currently works in her workshop on the shores of Lake Brissago.

She trained in sculpture in Naples then opened her Kris Art workshop in Italy. She achieved success by exhibiting several of her works at various international exhibitions. It notably aroused the interest of critics from Vogue magazine.

Krisalide uses unconventional materials and techniques such as semi-precious stones – turquoise, opal, agate, quartz – which she inserts into her works.
