« For me, working with felt is like a dance: a dance made of passion and creativity. »

Since her childhood spent in Chile, Carolina Véliz has been drawn to wool, which she appreciates for its energy, its softness and the diversity of its colours. She knits her first scarf at the age of 7 and will never stop working and transforming this material. Based in Geneva, she offers her creations for sale in her shop and organizes workshops to discover the work of felt.

« My raw material comes mainly from Patagonian sheep. This wool, carefully carded, brings a particular personality to my creations. »

In her Geneva studio, Carolina Véliz modifies the texture of wool by rubbing it with soapy water. The felted wool is transformed into colorful stoles decorated with flowers and other hand-drawn motifs. To give life to her unique creations, she only works with natural fibres.
