8th edition of Vitrofestival: May 10 and 11, 2025

The Vitrofestival Romont, a festival of glass and stained glass arts, is a unique event in Switzerland organized by an association. Each year, nearly 5,000 people attend: glass arts professionals and art and crafts enthusiasts, often with their families. The festive atmosphere that reigns in Romont is greatly appreciated. As for the many artists who participate, they emphasize the importance of such an event.

The aim of this festival is to promote contemporary glass arts, stained glass, and glass design, particularly through its galleries—venues for exhibiting glass creations by renowned artists—its glass market, various glassblowing and sandblasting demonstrations, and children's activities. It is currently the only event in Switzerland dedicated to the world of glass and to meetings, exchanges, and training for professional creators, notably through a symposium.

The Vitrofestival is now a must-see triennial event for lovers of glass-related arts and Swiss glassmakers! It's also a warm and friendly event that attracts many other visitors.
