Ballenberg - Philipp Kuntze takes over the management of the Ballenberg training center

The Heimatwerkschule Ballenberg Foundation has appointed Philipp Kuntze as head of the Ballenberg education center as of January 1, 2019. Philipp Kuntze succeeds Adrian Knüsel, who has headed the Ballenberg education center for more than 20 years.

Aged 47, Philipp Kuntze, an interior designer by training, has worked for various Swiss furniture manufacturers and design companies. Specializing in high-quality interior design mediation, he founded his own Qn’C agency in 2013 to offer handcrafted furniture and lighting and offer interior design consulting services. Three years ago, Philipp Kuntze created World Crafts, a non-profit organization, to promote the international trade in fine crafts. Philipp Kuntze has worked as a co-curator in various international juries and in 2017, for the Swiss pavilion at the biennial of crafts in Cheongju, Korea.
