Bertille Laguet, ironworker in Chexbres (VD) presents her profession from her workshop

“I orient my work as a designer on craftsmanship, local and conscious production to stay in line with my values. »

Bertille Laguet follows a technical course that allows her to discover how objects are made before learning to design them herself. During her studies in industrial design, she became familiar with the foundry and later discovered iron working with the ironworker Philippe Naegele, whose forge she took over. She is the winner of the Second Prize for Relève Métiers d’art 2018.
