Carouge: Imagine, create, shape exhibition

Crafts in Carouge

For its new exhibition, the Carouge Museum has chosen to highlight key players in the city. Carouge was indeed built around its craftsmen: its urban layout, its architecture and its economy owe much to their dynamism. This diversity and liveliness, characteristic of the history of the Sardinian city, are still representative of the city today.

Contemporary craftsmen are honoured: stylists, cabinetmakers, jewellers, graphic designers, photographers, restorers, milliners, among others, meet at the museum. The finished objects - the culmination of their thinking and their work - come in very diverse materials, shapes, textures and volumes and the exhibition highlights the part of dream that lies in each of them.

Free admission, until December 11, 2016
