Conference between artist and artisan at CACY

Artist Maëlle Gross and craftsman Jesse Gutknecht, both from northern Vaud, will be guests of the Contemporary Art Center of Yverdon-les-Bains (CACY). They will discuss their collaboration on a work paying tribute to those accused of witchcraft in the canton of Vaud.

"The conference will focus on the technical aspects of collaboration between artists and craftspeople to create a work of art," explains Maëlle Gross, who will be speaking at the CACY on Saturday at 3 p.m. with autobody painter Jesse Gutknecht of Jesse Design. Both will answer questions from Evelyne Notter, a scientific collaborator at the CACY. The discussion is also a partnership with the Yverdon and Region Museum.
