Continuing education - Built cultural heritage, intervening according to the rules of the art

Training for craftsmen and agents of historical monuments

The Vaud Federation of Entrepreneurs is launching a new training course this fall focusing on the culture of heritage. This course is intended primarily for craftsmen but also concerns agents, owners and other people interested in the conservation of historical monuments wishing to deepen their knowledge and specialize in the field of built cultural heritage.

Experts from academia and the field offer a course composed of various theoretical and practical modules, aimed at reclaiming a constructive tradition and becoming a player and a specialist interlocutor in the conservation-restoration process. This level of expertise will make it possible to have a better knowledge of the work of protection authorities and to anticipate their requirements.

Places

  • Ballenberg Swiss Open-Air Museum in Hofstetten bei Brienz
  • Construction school in Tolochenaz
  • Historical monuments located in the canton of Vaud
