France - The Liliane Bettencourt Prize rewards the House of Tools and Workers’ Thought

Created in 1999, the Liliane-Bettencourt prize “For the intelligence of the hand” rewards know-how, creativity and innovation in the field of fine crafts in France. Since its creation, this competition open to professionals in the arts and crafts has rewarded the talent of nearly a hundred personalities in a wide variety of fields. On October 10, the Maison de l’Outil et de la Pensée Ouvrière was awarded the Liliane-Bettencourt prize in the “Parcours” category (one of the three existing ones). Created in 2014, this award highlights an exemplary personality (physical or moral) for his commitment, his achievements, his contribution to the French fine crafts sector, his exemplarity, his ability to train others and his plans for the future. .
