Isabella Künzli Waller, Stylist and textile designer in Rancate (TI) presents her work from her laboratory

« The creative path reveals the beauty of the finished fabric which can be treasured forever as a work of art. »

I am a stylist and fabric designer by training. I worked in the international fashion world for ten years between Lugano, Geneva and Hong Kong. Passion and curiosity stimulate me to discover new cultures, traditions that I express in the creation of fabrics. In 2014 I traveled to Indonesia to attend traditional Batik workshops with local artists. This ancient technique fascinates me both for the final result and for the path that requires time, concentration and patience. A meditative journey and a style that lead me to create exclusive timeless artistic creations. A path in constant evolution for me, from the search for natural dyes, to the combination of other techniques such as "Ecoprint" and "Shibori".
