Londres - LOEWE Craft Prize 2018 Exposition

The design museum, from Friday May 4 to Sunday June 17, 2018

Dedicated to the nominees of the LOEWE Craft Prize 2018 edition, this exhibition aims to reflect the merits of contemporary fine craftsmanship. The imagination, diversity and techniques exhibited attest to the crucial role of crafts in the construction of our cultural heritage. This exhibition will run from Friday May 4 to Sunday June 17.

LOEWE Artistic Director Jonathan Anderson conceives this initiative inspired by LOEWE’s beginnings as a craft cooperative in 1846. The LOEWE Craft Prize aims to recognize the importance of craftsmanship in today’s culture and to recognize craftsmen whose talent, vision and will contribute to creating the future.

The winner of the 2018 edition will be selected from among 30 finalists from nearly 2,000 submissions representing 86 countries on five continents.
