Martin Bachmann receives 10,000 francs

The Bündner Foundation for Arts and Crafts awards its prize to Martin Bachmann from Furna (Graubünden).

Martin Bachmann, carpenter and patron of “irr&sensig möbel” in Furna, is honored for his consistent attitude towards craftsmanship and materials, according to a press release from the Bündner Foundation for fine craftsmanship.

Bachmann was able to impress the members of the jury, who also make up the board of the foundation, with his experimental approach to wood, its economical and sustainable use and his love of the profession.
