Milan : The Italian jewel of the 20th century at Poldi Pezzoli

Poldi Pezzoli Museum, 24 November 2016 - 20 March 2017

The history of Italian jewelery and its protagonists is on display from 24 November 2016 to 20 March 2017 at the Poldi Pezzoli house museum in Milan in an exhibition entitled "The Italian jewel of the 20th century", curated by jewelery historian Melissa Gabardi. Through a chronological itinerary of over 150 works, some of which have never been exhibited, the exhibition aims to pay homage to Italian artisan know-how, ideally completing the collection of gold and precious items already present in the museum house, according to the intentions of its founder Gian Giacomo Poldi Pezzoli .
