Paris - Ateliers d’art de France reveals its 2018 Young Craftsmanship Awards

Spotting talent since 1960, the Prix de la Jeune Création Métiers d’Art reveals each year in France a new generation of creators, selected on criteria of artistic quality and sharp mastery of know-how. Reserved for craftsmen aged 35 and under, it strives to highlight the full diversity of the sector. Textile craftsman, jeweler, ceramist, glassmaker, cabinetmaker, modeler… are all trades that can be represented in their artistic and technical dimension.

For the 2018 edition, four winners from different backgrounds were distinguished:

  • Clémentine Brandibas, embroiderer
  • Steven Brunel, engraver-engraver
  • Eve George, handmade glassmaker
  • Nadège Mouyssinat, ceramist
