Quebec: International Film Festival on Crafts

13 films, 27 screenings from November 11 to 13, 2016

From November 11 to 13, 2016, the Maison des métiers d’art de Québec will present, in partnership with the Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec, a selection of films presented at the last International Film Festival on Crafts ( FIFMA), organized by Ateliers d’Art de France and Est Ensemble in Montreuil and Pantin.

Thirteen films on artistic professions, several of which won awards at Montreuil and Pantin, will be presented during this event. The films selected, which come from France, Belgium, Spain, the Czech Republic and England, approach different disciplines (ceramics, sculpture, glass, jewellery, forging and textiles), taking us to the heart of the know-how passionate craftsmen-creators and testify to the contribution of these craftsmen to the world’s cultural heritage.
