Quebec - The Maison des métiers d’art de Quebec is hosting the 2017 Culture Days

Discover ceramics, sculpture and textiles, Saturday September 30 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

As part of the Journées de la culture, the Maison des métiers d’art de Québec invites you to discover its premises, meet craftsmen, take part in three artistic crafts creation workshops and follow the Saint-Roch route to visit the many workshops, galleries and organizations that participate in the Journées de la culture.

Ceramics: immerse your hands in the clay, learn the shaping technique and make a unique piece.
Sculpture: handle sculpture tools, discover the bas-relief technique and sculpt your own work.
Textile: discover two techniques: marbling and decorative embroidery with a sewing machine, and make a small piece.

A non-profit organization, the Maison des métiers d’art de Québec is one of twelve accredited crafts workshop schools in Quebec. It is the only one to bring together three artistic disciplines, namely ceramics, sculpture and textiles.
