In Geneva, four of them will open their doors to the public during the European Days of Crafts, from April 20 to 22, 2018
On the occasion of the next European Days of Crafts, four Geneva CFPs (arts, construction, nature and environment and technology; see also box) and the Haute École d’art et de design (HEAD) will present to the public training related to the beautiful craftsmanship of the hand which, in addition to preparing a qualified succession, contributes to protecting the heritage and the local economic fabric.
"The JEMA make it possible to open up our professions to the uninitiated, to bring young people to discover our work, its complexity, and to encourage vocations", rejoices Éric Godel, head of florist training at the CFP Nature et environnement. . In collaboration with the training company Fleuriot, the apprentice florists will offer two demonstrations to the public by delivering their thoughts around a floral creation, from the sketch on paper to the production in volume.
