The ethnic group of independent craftsmen

Just like the Tuareg, the Kwakiutl, the Nambikwara, the Dogon, the Guayaki or the Achuar, independent creators are now part of the "tribes" to have welcomed an anthropologist into their midst. From October 2009 to November 2013, I conducted an ethnography of those whom a multitude of experts and journalists celebrate today as “the most authentic” watchmakers.
