The Michelangelo Foundation receives the Hermes Prize for Innovation

The theme of the Hermès Prize for Innovation this year is Excellence in European Innovation with Global Impact. This prestigious award recognizes organizations that combine a high degree of innovation and humanism. Inspired by the fundamental values of the Renaissance, they are based on a rigorous multi-criteria analysis of each recipient’s commitment to improving the human condition, the relationship between human beings, the future of cities and of sustainable development. The Michelangelo Foundation for Creativity and Craftsmanship received an award for its promotion of the European master craftsman on a global scale, through activities such as the exhibition “Homo Faber - Creating a more humane future”. Held in 2018, it was recognized as the most beautiful exhibition in the world. The next edition is scheduled for 2020.
