Vaud: A bow maker from Lausanne spends a week repairing the bows of the musicians of the Havana Chamber Orchestra.

Mozart-Habana Festival in October 2016: in the magnificently restored historic churches and halls of La Habana Vieja, classical music concerts bring together the best professional musicians from Cuba, but also from Europe and even the United States, with the support of the Salzburg Mozarteum. On vacation for the first time in the Caribbean island, Francine Humbert-Droz attends, enthusiastic, some of these concerts: she is both captivated by the musical quality and the commitment of the Cuban musicians, but also notices immediately the sometimes miserable state of their equipment "I discovered how much difficulty these musicians had in obtaining quality instruments and also the need for them to maintain the equipment."
