Vevey - Anne Rosat has created a superb work inspired by the Fête des Vignerons 2019

www.fetedesvignerons.ch, Isabelle Falconnier, 8 May 2019

We only see him, in the center of the painting: a vast and welcoming heart made of a thousand layers of golden paper. Golden papers, rather: light gold, or pink, or silver, or yellow, more or less thick, more or less shiny. Around the heart, two bunches of grapes that one imagines ripe, and juicy, sticky from the sun, and two starlings, spinning straight towards the sky, holding in their beaks the braided crown of the winegrowers of the Festival. No doubt: we are both at Anne Rosat, whose heart has always been the trademark, the artistic signature, and in the world of the Fête des Vignerons, whose 2019 poster is populated by starlings, of butterflies and other actors of the vine.

Anne Rosat’s painting is exhibited in the hall of the Hôtel des Trois Couronnes in Vevey. At his side, three art objects from the Artisans Label of the Fête des Vignerons: the pendant of the Vevey jeweler Markus Kunz, the scarves painted on silk by Luna Ribès and the Ranz des Vaches music box from the Reuge house in Holy Cross.
