The term «hyperrealism» is used for contemporary painting influenced by photorealism. While the photorealists try to reproduce a template as exactly as possible, the hyperrealists add an additional dimension to their work: reality is exaggerated and thus often ironically questioned. Martí Cormand presents the methods of detailed reproduction based on very different projects: tracing using a light box or window, drawing using the raster method and freehand drawing. In addition to drawings, watercolors and oil paintings, this book also contains four sculpted objects - deceptively real! Fascinating - for all drawing and painting enthusiasts!
