Thierry Amstutz, restorer of old and modern clocks, creator of clocks with automaton and musical box, technician-demonstrator of Jaquet-Droz automatons, settled in Auvernier in 1981. His first son, Grégory, joined the company in December 2005.

The clock workshop "Au Carillon d’Or" located in the cellars of a winegrower’s house more than three centuries old, takes us into another world. Dozens of clocks of all origins and of all ages mark the passage of time there with continuous tickings, covered, every quarter of an hour, by a polyphony of chimes in various tones.
