Michele Cesta's field of activity includes unique pieces in stoneware and porcelain as well as small series of utilitarian ceramics fired at high temperatures. The main theme of his work is the container in all its possible facets: ritual and cult (imaginary) object, abstract sculpture, functional everyday object.

The containers materialize and illustrate creations, experimental explorations, born from the interaction between the elements earth, water and fire and the shaping possibilities of the potter's wheel.
