After training as a ceramist, Julie Crettol Diaz moved into a shared studio in Montreux where she created utilitarian and decorative pieces, sculptures and jewelry. At the same time, she runs a ceramics workshop for teenagers looking for a professional solution for 7 years before leaving the Riviera to return to settle in Valais.

« After firing at 1260°C, the ferruginous sandstone and metallic oxides are transformed into sculptures. »

In her studio, which she shares with the ceramist Charlotte Vouilloz, Julie Crettol shapes clay to give life to her objects. She mainly works in porcelain and stoneware and adorns her creations with fine ornaments. She works both alone and in collaboration with other artisans, jewelers or designers.
