About
Born in France in 1945, Michel Delanoë trained in the fine arts and began training as a glassmaker somewhat by chance. He moved to Switzerland in 1970 and worked with glass in all its forms: stained glass, sculpture, engraving, painting, mosaic. Also a restorer of stained glass, he takes care, among other things, of those of the cathedral of Lausanne or the abbey church of Romainmôtier.
Michel Delanoë uses diamonds as a pen, glass cutter, notching pliers, lead rods, brushes and a huge furnace to work the glass and create games of light and shadow. With several decades of experience, he works for the restoration and conservation of the artistic heritage of Switzerland and elsewhere and participates in numerous exhibitions.
