About
Granddaughter of a saddler, Lysiane Eggen has been active in the family business since she was 11 years old. In 1997, she obtained her saddler’s CFC at the EPSIC. After an internship with Michel Devoucoux in Biarritz, she worked in Liège in a horse-riding shop, then took over in 2001 the company founded by her grandfather, Pierre Meystre. She obtained her federal master’s degree the following year.
His workshop-boutique in Romanel-sur-Lausanne is devoted to the world of horses and riders. This is where Lysiane Eggen fulfills her orders: made-to-measure gaiters, restoration of horse-drawn carriage upholstery, boat seats, motorcycle saddles and even ventilation bellows for locomotives!
