Tessa Wymann completed her apprenticeship as a bookbinder and completed her studies in 2006. Her training with Jean-Pierre Hinderer gave her the chance to experience exceptional work and learn from a specialist in luxury bindings and cardboard. In 2011, she co-founded the Veveysan workshop Les Relieuses, a stone’s throw from Lake Geneva. Since 2017, she has been training every year at the Centro Del Bel Libro, in Ascona.

Filled with papers, canvases, leathers and old machines, the workshop emphasizes an exclusive artisanal offer and collaborations with designers and book lovers result in original and unique creations. Often commissioned by institutions, Tessa Wymann also works to preserve heritage. In order to transmit her know-how, she intervenes as a teacher in Geneva, at the CFP Arts and at the API, without forgetting the workshops that she gives in her own studio.
