About
Born in Delémont, it was in 1976 that Caroline Friedli obtained her CFC as a jeweler in Basel at the Wyttenbach workshop. After working for a few years in Biel, Lausanne and even in California, she opened her studio in 1981.
To develop her knowledge, Caroline Friedli took courses to discover ancient techniques: anticlastic forge; brassware; foldforming; watermark; cloisonne enamel; or even glass fusing. It is above all the antique granulation and the Japanese technique of mokumé gane that will have caught his attention.
Caroline Friedli's workshop was also a gallery offering several annual exhibitions of different arts and crafts; it featured designers who work with leather, textiles, knitwear, felt, wood, clay, paint, etching and of course jewelry designers.
